Although we will try out best to answer your call as soon as possible please bear with us as we do anticipate a high volume of calls and you may not be able to get through to our customer services team first time.

HOTBIN Supply Update - 14/08/20

Just a quick update to say that with a huge effort from the whole HOTBIN Team we are happy to report that our dispatch times are back to what they were before lockdown.

The current dispatch time for all products is now up to 10 working days.
(This means delivery could be anywhere between 2 days and 2 weeks)

HOTBIN Supply Update - 22/06/20

The efforts that we have made at HOTBIN HQ to work safely and increase production are really paying off. The steps taken have allowed us to make significant progress fulfilling the order backlog, whilst also handling the increase in demand for our product range.

Our current lead times are much reduced and are as follows:

  • New HOTBIN Mini orders currently have a dispatch time of up to 5 working days
  • New HOTBIN Mk.2 orders currently have a dispatch time of up to 15 working days.

The situation is always evolving but we hope lead times will continue to drop over the coming weeks.

HOTBIN Composting remains committed to the health and well-being of its employees and are still working under strict safety measures that meet the Governments current guidance to minimise risk to our employees and reduce the spread of Covid-19.

HOTBIN Supply Update - 20/05/20

In these unprecedented times for HOTBIN, we are working hard and doing all we can to work safely with a small skeleton staff to fulfil an unforecastable volume of orders, we are also taking steps wherever possible to speed operations and increase HOTBIN production and dispatch.

We want to assure you of our best intentions at this time by letting you know that all outstanding orders with HOTBIN are of the utmost importance to us and we are working hard to reduce the backlog of orders as quickly as possible.

Please take this announcement as a confirmation that we are now aiming to fulfil all outstanding and new orders within a 25 - 30 working day lead time from date of order, sincere apologies to keep you waiting that little bit longer.

As soon as your order has been dispatched you will receive an email from HOTBIN Composting and an email / text message (if you left a mobile number) from DPD 24hr prior to delivery.

Please rest assured that all orders are recorded and queued fairly for dispatch in the order they were received. Your ongoing patience is hugely appreciated.

HOTBIN Supply Update - 01/05/20

The extraordinary circumstances we all find ourselves in at the moment have led to an up surge in home composting. Due to an unprecedented rush of orders since reopening we have unfortunately been forced to make the decision to take the HOTBIN Mini out of stock temporarily to enable us to catch up.

We are doing all we can to fulfil orders as quickly as possible however new orders and orders placed W/C 27/04/20 for the HOTBIN Mini are likely to take the full 20 working days quoted on the website.

We regret at this point that we currently still can't sell Bulking Agent as a standalone purchase, however we can send you a notification when it becomes available.

HOTBIN Supply Update - 23/04/20

We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for all your patience surrounding the delayed delivery of any outstanding orders with HOTBIN Composting.

We are happy to announce today that from Tuesday 28th April we will be in a position to start safely dispatching the backlog of online and retailer orders that we have received over the past 5 weeks.

HOTBIN Composting remains committed to the health and well-being of its employees and are putting additional safety measures in place that meet, and in many cases, exceed Government guidance to minimise risk to our employees and reduce the spread of the Coronavirus. These measures include:

  • All employees who can work from home are working from home
  • All employees are briefed on our COVID-19 Safety Standards document
  • All employees operating on site have access to the necessary PPE where required
    (Gloves, Masks and Hand Sanitiser)
  • Production and warehouse spaces have been compartmentalised to ensure correct social distancing

Week commencing Monday 27th April the HOTBIN manufacturing site and depot will be opening with a dedicated skeleton staff with the purpose to start processing and dispatching HOTBIN orders once more (we will obviously prioritise dispatch for those customers that have been waiting the longest).

As we restart operations and work hard to clear the backlog please continue to bear with us that little bit longer as deliveries of new orders received may take up to 14 working days to be dispatched.

When you take delivery of your HOTBIN order please use your own discretion in line with Government guidelines and exercise all appropriate caution advised for receiving deliveries safely at this time. Make no contact with the delivery driver, wash your hands after opening the parcel and discard the packaging, if possible consider quarantining the parcel before opening.

Finally, a huge thanks to all our fantastic customers and retailers for your support and understanding with regards to the unavoidable delays. Keep an eye out on your inbox for a notification that your order is on its way.

HOTBIN Supply Update - 15/04/20

We apologise for the continued disruption surrounding the dispatch of you HOTBIN orders, thanks for bearing with us at these challenging times.

Our previous update on the 25th March suggested our stance would be reviewed on the 14th of April inline with the Governments 3-week review.

Unfortunately we do not have a definitive answer at this stage still, but we have had the first signs of light at the end of the tunnel, as the Government’s Business Secretary, in a letter dated 8th April, has stated that ‘Manufacturing is a Critical part of the Economy’ and that ‘there is no restrictions under the current rules’.

We will continue to post updates to our website here, when we have new information to communicate.

Thanks again for your understanding at this time. We are hopeful that our next announcement will be a positive one that will offer more clarity around the dispatch and delivery of all outstanding orders.

Bulking Agent - Unfortunately, we have had to prevent orders of bulking agent and remove this from the shop for now as our ability to supply is dependent on our supplier who has suspended business operations until further notice.

Promotional Discount Codes - If you have a promotional code you have found in any of our seasonal advertising that we have live throughout the Spring months and are waiting to place an order based on the Covid 19 situation changing. Within reason we will be flexible with these codes and their redemption after the expiry date has passed.

Back Orders Accepted - You can continue to place orders with us but you need to know that payment will be taken at the time of ordering and that we will not be able to ship anything until Government guidelines are relaxed or changed, this will be officially reviewed on April 14th, 2020. Alternatively click 'Notify me when available' and we will contact you when we can start shipping HOTBINs again.

 

HOTBIN Supply Update - 25/03/20

As the Government guidelines around the Covid 19 situation continue to change we are also having to make changes to our operations. Our priority at the moment is the safety and wellbeing of all of our workforce and customers and unfortunately, as of today 25/03/20 we are no longer able to manufacture or ship any further orders of the HOTBIN Mini and Mk.2 models, bulking agent or spare parts from our warehouses.

This has been a difficult decision to stop delivering for now, but we feel it is the ethical and correct thing to do at this time as we all strive together to ensure that we adhere to Government guidelines and do everything we can to limit the spread of the virus.

You can continue to place orders with us (which payment will be taken for), but we will not be able to ship anything until Government guidelines are relaxed or changed, this will be officially reviewed on April 14th 2020.

Deliveries we be resumed only when it is safe to do so.

Here at HOTBIN we are closely monitoring all official guidelines on the current Coronavirus pandemic. Over the past week we have made a number of changes to the way we work to support our customers, whilst also helping to keep our workforce safe.
